The going at Ascot is Good to Firm.

Chris Stickels, Ascot’s Clerk of the Course, said: “We are currently Good to Firm, with a dry forecast ahead. The evapotranspiration rate today was a bit higher than yesterday because of the breeze.

“We are going to do the same as last night, which is put 5mm on the Straight Course and 4mm on the Round Course to maintain conditions. The forecast for tomorrow is slightly warmer at 29c and sunny again.”
